Workshops &  Retreats

Workshops, training sessions, and retreats are an investment in yourself. They are a great way to deepen your well-being practices, and at the same time expand your self-awareness. This is how I continued to develop myself during a turbulent time in my life.

I offer a variety of workshops, training sessions, presentations, and day/weekend retreats for various settings to make well-being fun in addition to being informative and practical.

I started co-creating women’s retreats in 2016 with a focus on rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Each retreat has been unique, though all of them were built on the common theme of balancing the mind, body and spirit through various expert-led workshops, meditation, yoga, stretching, cooking classes, and massages. All of this while having some fun, enjoying nature, and eating healthy non-inflammatory foods.

My goal for day and weekend retreats is to choose a beautiful space for my clients and create an opportunity for them to release some of their stress, while learning something new to apply in their lives. I enjoy supporting my clients through their wellness journeys, so they can achieve optimal health and well-being.

For three years in a row, I have delivered an intensive 20-hour training on the “Principles of Ayurveda” at PranaShanti Education Center to yoga teachers and students.  I have also offered various types of workshops relating to Food as Medicine to dieticians, nutritionists, nurses and many others who are in the medical field.

I create tailored programs, workshops, and presentations to explore physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health so that you can become aware of your holistic body. My deepest wish is to help individuals become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves, by empowering them through various wellness habits so they achieve balance and harmony in all aspects of their lives.

Women's Retreats

Women’s retreats are a wonderful way to connect with our feminine aspects and nurture ourselves in ways that keep us healthy and vibrant — and allow us to continue to provide for  others in our lives from a place of wholeness.

Testimonials

“This was a course (20-hour Principles of Ayurveda) that I loved, and I learned so much! I would certainly enjoy taking other courses from Sonia. She is engaging because it is very meaningful to her and that carried over to all of us. She wanted us to learn, not just intellectually, but experientially and emotionally.”

“Sonia, you made me feel inspired. When hosting the various wellness events, you always presented the topic with such passion, and ease – it made me and the other participants feel inspired, as well. I sure want to incorporate these practices into our daily routines.”

“You taught me the value of work/life balance and that it is okay to put myself first. I have learned so many little tips and tricks from you that I don’t know where to start. You have shared your passion for yoga, and you introduced a calmness into my life. You taught me about mindfulness in many aspects of my life, namely mindful eating.”
